Since 2024, NCBAE has engaged 3,000+ community members and 200+ partners at our live events, building a thriving ecosystem of artists, business leaders, and innovators. We bring together a global network of creative entrepreneurs, industry decision-makers, and cultural influencers who are shaping the future of Black arts and entertainment.
The Midwest Regional Black Culture Fest—formerly the Sweet & Natural Fest— Cincinnati’s premier outdoor celebration of Black creativity, commerce, and community. Since 2016, this vibrant summer kickoff has united thousands of attendees and artists from across the country for a dynamic day of fashion, art, music, entrepreneurship, and wellness screenings, spotlighting Black excellence through experiences like the CultureRush Fashion Show, TechNoir UniverseCity, Melanin Marketplace, and the Black Money Matters series.
The Family Heritage Hop: Black Arts & Culture Museum Tour, with the support ofArtsWave, NEA, and OAC, connected generations through the power of shared cultural experiences—transporting over 250 participants from Cincinnati’s underserved neighborhoods to major arts institutions and Black-owned cultural spaces. By eliminating barriers of cost and transportation, the program nurtured family bonds, inspired creativity, and celebrated Black artistic heritage through a day of discovery, artmaking, and community connection.
The Free Summertime Kids Breakfast & Art Initiative nourishes both body and spirit—serving hundreds of meals and art kits to children in Cincinnati’s most underserved neighborhoods. Supported by Women 100, ArtsWave, and the NEA, this program combats food insecurity and community violence by blending nutrition, creativity, and mental health support, empowering families to heal, connect, and thrive through the arts. Since our inception in 2024 we have served over 500 kids breakfast and lunch.
